ENGSTROM: PORTRAIT OF A GUITAR MAKER
Marcus Engstrom is a 32-year-old luthier. Born in Sweden, Engstrom built his first instrument in at the age of 15. He attended a four-year academy in Sarpsborg, Norway, to learn guitar-making, then apprenticed with Dan Roberts of the Santa Cruz Guitar Company. Engstrom now lives near Bozeman, Montana.
